The even heating of cast iron helps you achieve the perfect crust and get well-defined edge pieces. Use this loaf pan to help you bake delectable bread, loaf cakes and meatloafs. It provides excellent heat distribution and retention for consistent, even baking. Seasoned and ready to use.

Using your Seasoned Cast Iron:

  • Foundry seasoned, ready to use upon purchase (for more information on seasoning, click here).
  • Oven safe.
  • Not intended for stovetop use.
  • Durable cast iron can handle any type of utensil – even metal.

To care for your Seasoned Cast Iron:

  • Hand wash and dry immediately—even before first use.
  • Rub with a light coat of vegetable oil after every wash.
  • How much oil? Enough to restore the sheen, without being “sticky”. Why? To keep the iron “seasoned” and protected from moisture.
  • It's okay to use a little soap when needed, just make sure you dry thoroughly and apply a little oil afterwards.

Love this loaf pan!! Well worth the money spent, and as well as the fact it's not toxic like many on the market, it also proves and bakes beautifully consistent loaves. Great product, highly recommend.
